A fantastic all round team performance today by the under 9 Hawks, with attitudes to match, in a thumping win away at Pudsey St Lawrence.

We started well by taking a wicket on the very first ball and that continued throughout the innings with strong catching, bowling and fielding meaning that we kept the run count down on a small pitch.

Pudsey were blown away by the batting, with all our players chipping in with runs leading to a very comfortable victory.

Major positives from the day were the general good behaviour, self organisation and communication in the field and the support the players gave to their team mates when batting. The development is clear to see, especially amongst some of the players that are new to the team this year.

The coaches and parents are very proud of our Hawks, keep up the good work!
