The Pro Coach Cricket Academy ‘Summer Development Academy’ is a great way for young cricketers to keep learning and developing over the Summer. The Summer Academy runs for three consecutive days and allows young cricketers to have the chance to continue to develop their existing skills as well as hopefully adding some new ones, as usual with a nit of help from the Professionals.

The Summer Academies will be run by level 3 coaches with appearances and coaching from Professional cricketers. Pro Coach sees the academy as an ideal opportunity for young cricketers to practise, learn and enjoy the game, spreading the emphasis between the enjoyment factor of game play along side the aim to increase player learning and technical application.

The drills and games will replicate the way County 1st team cricketers train. Most of the techniques and skills learnt can be used in all forms of cricket so the coaching can have a real impact on any young cricketer.

Pro Coach Summer Development Academy is aimed at young cricketers who have played any form of club and school cricket or above. The age range is under 12s (aged 6 to 11) and under 16s (aged 12 to 16).
