Peter Joyce funeral service will be held at Lawnswood Crematorium on Friday 29th December at 3:00 p.m.

It is with great sadness North Leeds Cricket Club have been informed of the death of Peter Joyce Peter died of an unexpected heart attack on Tuesday 28th November abroad, on his way home for Christmas.

Peter was born and raised in Leeds and the first son of Eddie & Kelly Joyce. Peter was married to Pat Joyce and had 4 children - Craig, Shaun, Anton and Ailsa and 4 grand children. Peter’s great love was sport and he was an avid footballer, cricketer and golfer. Peter played cricket for North Leeds as a wicket keeper in the 1980’s primarily for the third and second teams. Peter also went on tour with the touring side to Essex he was a member at Cobble Hall Golf Club and many local football clubs including St Augustines. He had many fond memories of North Leeds, where he was a wicket keeper in the 1980’sand introduced his sons to the club who played junior and senior cricket for the club in the mid 1980’s

Peter's funeral will be held at Lawnswood Crematorium on Friday 29th December at 3:00 p.m. Those who knew Peter well will understand that black attire is not essential. Peter loved bright colours so please feel free to come dressed to celebrate his life.
The family request no flowers. Donations to Yorkshire Cancer research can be made at the funeral.
