Season set for an exciting finish in the Aire-Wharfe 3rd XI competition.

After two losses during a difficult selection period in May the 3rd XI are now unbeaten in 7 in the league with only a downpour which ended the match against Follifoot having denied them a win though this run of games.

This run of good form has seen the gap to conference leaders Adel, who took a maximum 30 points from their first 5 games, slowly coming down to leave the conference table interestingly poised, as below.

1 Adel 50
2 North Leeds 46
3 Horsforth 42
4 Rawdon 32
5 Follifoot 23
6 Knaresborough 22
7 Bilton 18
8 Green Lane 13

Under the new format this year only the conference winner will go through into a one match play-off with the winner of the West conference to decide the 3rd XI championship. With 3 clubs in the hunt, only the top spot important and North Leeds' 3 remaining games being against Horsforth, Adel and Rawdon it's set up for an exciting finish to the 3rd XI season.
